CHEF TONG SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

Share

Chef Tong Seafood Restaurant is located on No. 3 Rd Richmond. It has been popular for a while. The same as many other Chinese restaurants in Richmond. This restaurant opens twice per day and between 3 pm – 5 pm the restaurant closes. It serves Dim Sum in the morning and seafood in the afternoon. At the early year, dad’s friends invite me and my fiance to go to this place to have a try. We had such a great experience at this restaurant.

Environment: Chef Tong Seafood is on 4600 No.3Rd #101, Richmond. The location is in between of Lansdowne Station and Aberdeen Station. Between these two stations, there are so many Chinese restaurants. Chef Tong Seafood is one of them. It’s very surprising to me that Chef Tong is one of the most popular ones. Since so many restaurants around, it’s easy to find the parking around the restaurant. We arrived at Chef Tong around 10:30 when it just opened. It was already a huge lineup outside the door. After waiting about 15 – 20 mins, we finally got into the door. Inside the restaurant, it’s all traditional Chinese Restaurant settings, nice and warm.

Service: Once we sat down, the servers brought us the menu to take a look. At the same time. They served us tea and hot water.

Food: There are five of us. We have ordered lots of food for brunch. All the food came out of the kitchen one by one. They are all in great quality and fresh. Most importantly, they are tasted delicious. We had Deep-fried Chinese donut $3.00, Shrimp and matsutake dumplings $6.88, Ground beef ball $6.88, Choy sum and preserved vegetable in brine $10.95, Steamed bun filled with salty egg yolk lave $8.28, Baked barbequed pork buns $6.38, Baked barbequed pork buns $6.38, seafood sauce bean curd $6.88, small ribs with black beans $$6.88, Marinated Chicken Trimmed with radish, red onion, and pickles $24.80/half, and etc.
