Last week, I ‘ve been to Field & Social for lunch with my friend’s mom. It was my first time coming to this place and having 100% salad for lunch. The Field & Social is a small salad bar, which is located on Dunsmuir St. The location is easy to find, but I’ve never been this place before until last week. We arrived the place like 1 ish. Still, we had to wait for the big line to get our orders. We couldn’t believe that so many people like to eat salad for lunch. People could sit at the bar to eat their lunch and they could also take their order to go. The salad bar is not big. The waiting line was moving fast. We read the menu on the wall.  The salads in this bar are expensive and the cheapest one is around $10. Besides salads, they also sell those $4 or $5 drinks, which are super expensive.  Soon, we began our orders.  We’ve ordered  $12 AVOFRESCO (Romaine, arugula, shredded purple cabbage, organic quinoa, cilantro, pickled carrots, red onion, feta, spiced sunflower seeds, toasted tortilla chips, ½ avocado) and $10  BOMBAY BOWL (Chutney marinated chickpeas, warm black lentils, kale, romaine, pickled carrots, cucumber, tomatoes, shallots, papadom Raita drizzle). The servers took our orders quickly and made the salad in front of us. They were so fast and friendly. The ingredients were very fresh and clean. Everything in this salad bar is very healthy and large portion of the food. If you want to lose weight or you are vegan, you should definitely go Field & Social to try its salads. The only one minus thing is everything in this bar is so EXPENSIVE.
